Store/Sales Manager

So, what does a Store/Sales Manager?
Generally speaking…
You’re responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shop as well as developing new clients for external sales and events. You will report to the Director.
You’ll be full of ideas about how to improve the products and service we offer, so you should be self-motivated and decisive with excellent interpersonal skills, grace under pressure and an attention to detail.
La Boulangerie stocks and supplies a range of authentic French foods, so a familiarity and affection for France and all things French is essential.
La Boulangerie is open 7 days per week and this is a full-time position that may require flexibility with regard to working early/late and at weekends if necessary.
Duties
Overseeing the work and development of the Vendors.
Driving sales for the business outside of the Shop itself. Meeting with potential clients, establishing and handling individual customer accounts, and planning and organising client events.
Skills
A desire to develop others in the team and help them grow in confidence and ability.
Must have excellent mental maths, and verbal/written communication skills in English and French is highly desirable.
Experience
Previous retail service and management of people is essential.
Qualifications
Preferably degree-level. GCSE Mathematics grade C or above (or equivalent).
Benefits
Salary between £22000 and £25000 pa plus bonuses / Commissions (OTE up to £35,000). |
